Trauma & Grounding in a Pandemic: The Mind-Body-Spirit Impact of the Moment
with Teresa Mateus, LCSW, E-RYT 200

We are in a moment where grief is abundant and given on a daily basis with whiplash speed. Everyone is touched by it, whether it is personally or communally, our cultural context is overwhelmed by a thick fog of the grief of the moment.
There is loss of lives of loved ones, of the loved ones of others, of jobs and financial certainty, of a world we believed to be one way that has become something drastically different. The grief is palpable and in our isolative spaces it can also feel deeply overwhelming and immensely lonely.
In this interactive webinar we talk about how grief manifests, how it is showing up specific to this moment, what we can do to process our own grief and support others, as well as managing the grief that cannot be resolved now, but will need to be attended into the future.
10 THINGS THAT SHIFT IN A CRISIS INTERACTIVE WEBINAR
Monday, March 30th, 2020 at 6:00-7:30 PM CT
with Teresa Mateus, LCSW, RYT
This webinar will follow up on the Trauma & Grounding in a Pandemic Webinar from last Monday (recording available via Youtube) and dig into the elements of our life and our person (mind, body, spirit) which shift in crisis. This is not an exhaustive list of what shifts but it is a jumping off point to look at how things are different and felt differently in crisis, to normalize our own experiences in the now and talk about ways to mediate the shift for ourselves, our families and our communities. There will be time for community conversation, questions and reflections during this shared time and learning space together. Whether you joined us last week or not you are welcome to join!
